Microsoft SharePoint offers, since its 2007 release, a global platform web professional collaboration. The software associated with Microsoft Office, provides a set of features which aims to significantly enrich the tools provided to users regardless of their context of use (individually, as part of a team or the business). Some functions are necessary regardless of the use made of the platform (rights management, worflow, site management, ...).
