We are committed to protecting the privacy of applicants, customers and users of our website. We will ensure that the information you provide to us or that we collect through various channels (including our website, written correspondence (including emails), conversations or meetings with our consultants, or through our offices or our websites) are used only for the purposes indicated in this policy.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you of the types of personal data that we collect from applicants, the purposes for which we use the data and the manner in which they are processed. It also enables us to comply with the transparency obligation stemming from the European Union General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") and national legislation transposing the GDPR.

The information we collect

We will collect your personal data including, but not limited to, your name and contact details (as well as your email address) and other relevant information set out in your Curriculum Vitae ("CV"). When we receive your contact details and CV by electronic means, this could be done through a direct application on our website or through an application made through a third-party job site.

We will likely obtain other personal information about you during our professional relationship with you. This information can be obtained directly from you or from third parties such as companies to which we have provided your CV and which have engaged you in the context of a job application.
 

How we use your personal information

We will hold, use and disclose your personal information for legitimate business purposes, including:

Promote recruitment

Build a sourcing pool by keeping your information to inform you of future employment opportunities other than the specific position for which you have contacted us;

Allow you to present your CV for general applications or for specific job applications.

Establish correspondences between your information and vacancies, to help us find the job that best meets your expectations and to send your personal information to clients for job requests;

to respond to your inquiries;

to meet contractual obligations to our customers;

to communicate personal information to regulatory or law enforcement agencies if we are asked to do so or if we are authorized to do so
 

Use of personal data legal basis

Under the GDPR, the main grounds invoked to process the personal information of clients and candidates are as follows:

- the processing is necessary for the conclusion or execution of a contract

- the processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation

- the processing is necessary for the purposes of legitimate interests, once you have given your consent

We disclose your personal information to customers who have vacancies that may interest you.

Trusted third party

We will share your personal information and, if necessary, your sensitive personal information with trusted third parties when we have stored it to provide services that you or our customers have requested such as:

checking references for a job;

verification of qualifications and diplomas;

Control of judicial convictions when required or authorized by law;

verification of the information you have provided from third parties;

psychometric assessments or skill tests.

We require minimum standards of privacy and data protection from these third parties.

We make every effort to provide you with a secure environment by reserving access to our database to legitimate users.


Share of personal data

We never share, without your explicit authorization, your contact details with third parties who could use them in order to solicit you directly.

We share your data with third parties who help us provide you with our products and services (hosting of our databases in Europe, Sourcing Database, outsourced CV library). These third parties are not authorized to use your information for other purposes.

We make every effort to provide you with a secure environment by reserving access to our database to legitimate users.

New business owners

If we or our business merge with another business or business, we will share your personal information with the new business or business owners and their advisers. If this happens, we will send you notification of such an event.

 

How long we keep your information

The period during which we will keep or store your personal information will depend on the services we provide for you and the period during which you require these services. To the extent that we often assist candidates with placements for several years, and potentially throughout their careers, the purposes for which we keep candidate data are often continuous. We perform regular cleaning and updating of data with our candidates to ensure that the data we hold is accurate and that we do not keep it for too long.

Our standard business terms state that our customers should only keep candidate data such as their CV for the purpose of filling the specific position for which you are applying and that, as data controllers, they should tell you inform them if they intend to keep your CV on file to notify you of any future potential employment or to keep or use your data for other purposes.

 

Your rights regarding the information we hold about you

You have certain rights regarding the personal information we hold about you. Details of these rights and how to exercise them are provided below. We will ask you to prove your identity before we can respond to your request.

Right of access: copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Right of rectification or supplement: rectification, update or supplement of the personal information that we hold about you.

Right to erasure And Right to object to processing or limitation of processing.

In certain circumstances, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information. For example, if we process your information on the basis of our legitimate interests and there are no legitimate and compelling reasons for this processing which prevail over your rights and interests such as the conclusion of a contract, your request cannot be taken into account.

Right to data portability: right to receive personal information that we hold about you in a structured format, commonly used and readable by a computer, without our being able to guarantee technical compatibility with systems of a third party company.
 

Resume

You have the choice to provide us with your resume via our website or by giving it to one of our consultants. You can provide it to us to respond to a specific job advertisement or for our recruiting consultants to review it for future vacancies.

Your resume will be stored in our database and our recruitment consultants will be able to access it.

You can update your resume at any time by simply following the same method as for sending a new resume. Your old resume will be automatically archived if the contact details provided for the resume supply remain the same (e.g. using the same email address or if you inform the contact concerned of the sending of your new resume).
